This Tomcat’s career began with a mid-air collision with another F-14 from VF-14 on December 5, 1979
Although it managed to return to USS John F. Kennedy, the other F-14 was lost at sea

The flagpole here once flew in front of Plant 7
The guard booth was relocated from in front of Plant 14 in Bethpage
The parking lot has "GRUMMAN" written the same way as the old runway did in Bethpage once did
The A-6E fundraising effort was a success and there will be a new addition to the site.
You can see in the picture below that there is a additional space being cleared for the new aircraft.
